Some examples given are "I like cooking" or "I like to cook on Sundays", and "They hate going to the doctor" or "They hate to go to the doctor". These verbs can also be used with an -ing verb form, such as "I hate listening to the radio" or "I enjoy listening to the news on radio than watching it on TV."
