This presentation was created for a program at the Boynton Beach City Library. Prior to the presentation, attendees took a narrated bus tour to local sites featuring the stained glass artwork of Conrad Pickel.

Conrad Pickel grew up in Germany, near Munich. Notice the skyline of Munich looks much different that Boynton Beach. Famous Glockenspiel and fine architecture. Apprenticed at Franz Meyer Studios.

Conrad Pickel planned to pierce the sky with a 340 foot glass tower – illuminated from within at night and seen from miles. Opened the Indian River Cultural Center.
