2. Programming Language:
A programming language is a vocabulary and set of grammatical rules for instructing a
computer or computing device to perform specific tasks. • The term programming language
usually refers to high-level languages, such as BASIC, C, C++, COBOL, Java, FORTRAN, Ada,
and Pascal.
3. Why programming language?
The computer doesn't actually learn the language; instead, it parses the language and
does what the lines of code tell it to do. To break it down further, the CPU is at the heart
of the computer. It only understands something called machine code, which is a language
consisting of ones and zeros.
4. Benefits of learning C++ programming language
• Easy to learn.
• Close to the hardware.
• Easy to understand.
• Use to create multiple application.
• Fast as compared to human.
• Object Oriented programming.
5. #include <iostream>
using namespace std;
int main() {
cout << "Hello World!";
return 0;
}
Syntax of C++.
• #include <iostream> is a header file library that lets us work with
input and output objects, such as cout (used in line 5).
• Header files add functionality to C++ programs.
• using namespace std means that we can use names for objects and
variables from the standard library.
• Another thing that always appear in a C++ program, is int main(). This
is called a function.
• Any code inside its curly brackets {} will be executed.
• cout (pronounced "see-out") is an object used together with
the insertion operator (<<) to output/print text
