2. What is J.A.G. Station
J.A.G. Station is a new media organization on GRU’s
campus.
GRU has The Bellringer and The Phoenix.
J.A.G. Station wants students to be able to hear and see
things, in addition to reading them.
J.A.G. Station will be for the students, by the students.
We want all students to be able to bring their media talents
and ideas to life in this organization.
3. Purpose of
J.A.G.
Station
•Will provide an outlet for Georgia
Regents University (GRU).
•Will host branches from the
entertainment industry:
JAG- Television (TV).
JAG- Radio
•JAG will be dedicated to informing,
educating, and entertaining the GRU
community.
•JAG will also have a place for print
journalists, photo journalists, essayists,
poets and bloggers.
4. Eligibility
General Membership shall be open to all
undergraduate and graduate students, whom are
interested in media, with a GPA of 2.0 or better.
All members are strongly encouraged to attend at least
two meetings during the semester. If dues are
implemented for the term, members should pay their
dues to stay active.
5. Executive and Committee Positions
There are five executive positions for J.A.G. Station:
President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer and
Station Manager.
Officers are required to have a GPA of 2.25 or better.
There are seven committee positions for J.A.G. Station:
News Director, Sports Director, Entertainment Director,
Music Director, Public Relations Director, Promotions
Director and Digital Productions Director.
Committee directors must possess a GPA of 2.0 or
better.
6. What will
J.A.G Station
Do?
J.A.G Station will
produce a variety of
things such as:
Interviews
Round table
discussions
Sports talk
News talk
Written stories
7. Interviews
Interviews will done by any member of J.A.G Station who
wishes to do them.
We will interview different organizations on campus about
what events they have for the semester and how other
students can get involved in that organization.
We would like for two representatives from each
organization to come and speak on behalf of the
organization.
Interviews can be conducted all over campus. The
organization can choose if they want to do the interview at
a specific location.
The interview segment will be called “The GRUve”.
8. Round Table Discussion
The round table discussion will be apart of the
entertainment committee.
This discussion will be called “The TEA at the Table”.
This show will include a diverse group of five to eight
students, who will discuss various topics submitted by
other students through social media.
If students want to participate in the round table
discussion, they can email the president or the
entertainment director.
9. Sports and News Talk
J.A.G Station will host bi-weekly segment of sports and
news talk.
The sports and news directors will be in charge of
conducting these segments.
These segments can include local and national news
and sports.
These segments should be no longer than 30 minutes
long.
10. Written Stories
J.A.G Station will also produce digital content for
students.
When students go on to the website they’ll be able to
watch content as well as read it.
The digital director will be in charge of written
content.
Again, this content will written by the students for the
students.

will host a variety of shows titled under various names. JAG-Radio will be marketed as the WGRU station called The Jaguar. JAG is dedicated to providing an outlet for GRU students who wish to gain experience in evolving mediums of communication. JAG will be dedicated to informing, educating, and entertaining the GRU community.
