Christianity teaches that truth and honesty are important virtues according to the Bible. Jesus taught that people should live honestly and be prepared to tell the truth, even when it's difficult. Being honest helps build trust within families and communities, as many religious and non-religious groups emphasize the importance of truthfulness in developing trusting relationships. The document discusses why truth matters, experiences with false accusations, and the importance of honesty while defining related vocabulary words.

Honesty
It can be easy to judge others and how often
they are honest and not think about how
honest we are. Many religious and non-
religious groups place a big important on
telling the truth and being honest. This helps
to develop trusting relationships in families
and communities.
