Tornado in a jar!!!
By: Isabella, michelle and gabe
Materials!
Glass jar with lid (any kind of jar),water, Dawn dish soap,
vinegar, and blue food dye
How to make it!!!!
1. Fill your jar about ¾ full
with water and add in 3-5
drops of blue food dye.
2. Add a teaspoon of dish soap and a
teaspoon vinegar to your blue water
3. Tighten your lid (VERY TIGHT)
4. Turn the bottle upside-down and
hold it by the neck.
Quickly spin the bottle in a circular motion for a FEW
SECONDS. Stop and look inside and see a mini tornado
forming in the water. You might need to try it a few
times before you get it working properly.
Our hypothesis
Our hypothesis is that we thought it was
going to work and basically thought it
was going to be a success.
Our conclusion
Our conclusion is that it was a complete fail!!!!
It didn’t work because of the dish soap so don’t
add dish soap!!!
Thanks for
watching!!!
