The document discusses services provided by IW:LEARN to support transboundary water management projects. IW:LEARN brings isolated GEF projects together by fostering learning and information sharing. It provides access to information through its resource center and regional websites. It also facilitates structured learning among projects, transfers innovations through conferences and publications, and provides technical assistance. Outreach activities include roundtables, sessions at events, and a traveling exhibit. The overall goal is to strengthen transboundary water management.

Organizational Vision: Stakeholders participating in Transboundary Waters Management are able to find the data, information and knowledge they need to sustainably manage their shared water resources.
Projects’ stakeholders include managers, governments, partners, implementing and executing agencies – as well as NGOs (civil society and private sector) participating in GEF IW projects.
IW Bridges Newsletter delivers syntheses of IW management experiences in response to IW stakeholders’ capacity-building needs.
Snapshot from IWRM Roundtable in Tokyo (December 2005), organized in partnership with Japan Water Forum (lead) and others.
