• Players who apply to play at an Event will be categorised into 3 groups, as follows:
• Group 1 – Players who scored above average* at the previous Rabbits event
• Group 2 – Players who have not played in any Rabbits event in 2014
• Group 3 – Players who have played in a previous Rabbits event in 2014
The team will be selected as follows:
• Players in Group 1, if this is less than 8 players then,
• Players in Group 2, if there are more players than remaining available slots, then the
required number of players selected at random
•Players in Group 3 – if there are still some slots remaining, then the required number
of players will be selected at random from this group
* Average is calculated by counting the total points scored by all players from all clubs
at an event, divided by the number of players
9. 9
Team Selection (continued)
• For the 1st
event of the year, performance at the last event last year will be used
to determine if a player is allocated to Group 1. All other players will be placed in
Group 2, with no players in Group 3.
• If a player is not available for an event, for example event No4, then for event No
5 they will be put in Group 3 irrespective of their performance in event 3. Group 1
is only for players that scored above average at the last event.
• Selection for the Finals day will be based on performance during the 2014 year, 8
players with the best 3 score average will be selected (if available).
