Greeks established contacts
with Italy.
4. Germany
• Germany, officially the
Federal Republic of
Germany is a federal
parliamentary republic
in west-central Europe.
The country consists of
16 states, and its capital
and largest city is
Berlin. Germany covers
an area of 357,021
square kilometres and
has a largely temperate
seasonal climate
5. France
• France, officially the French Republic is a unitary semi-presidential
republic in Western Europe with several overseas territories and
islands. Metropolitan France extends from the Mediterranean
Sea to the English Channel and the North Sea, and from the
Rhine to the Atlantic Ocean. It is often referred to as
l’Hexagone ("The Hexagon") because of the geometric shape of
its territory.

• Greece, officially the Hellenic
Republic, is a country in
Southeast Europe. Athens is
the capital and the largest city
in the country (its urban area
also including Piraeus). The
population of the country,
according to the 2011 census
preliminary data, is about 11
million. Greece has land
borders with Albania, the
Republic of Macedonia and
Bulgaria to the north, and
Turkey to the east. The
Aegean Sea lies to the east of
mainland Greece, the Ionian
Sea to the west, and the
Mediterranean Sea to the
south. Greece has the longest
history in the world !!!
