Vijay Foundation, as part of its wellness activities, is
organizing a programme “An Evening with Dr.
Konstantin Korotkov, Russia” a novel interaction
session with world renowned scientist and inventor of
Gas Discharge Visualization (GDV) to measure the
HumanEnergy Field.
Dr. Korotkov developed a technique that goes beyond
Kirlian photography for direct, real-time viewing of
the human aura. This new technology allows one to
capture by a special camera the physical, emotional,
mental and spiritual energy emanating to and from
human beings, plants, liquids, powders, inanimate
objects and translate this into a computerized model.
The technology has wide-ranging implications on the
diagnosis and treatment of conditions with
applications in medicine, psychology, biophysics,
forensic science, agriculture, ecology etc. The results

In most of our houses we find silver

“Biting the Silver bullet”,
“Silver spoon in the
mouth”, “Every cloud has
a Silver lining” are all
idioms used for ages,
standing testimony to the
fact that silver has always
been held in positive light.
Silver has long been
revered by the medical
community.
Hippocrates, “the father of medicine,” knew of its healing and
anti-disease properties in 400BC.
Silver has been used to heal
microbial infections for thousands of
years. The ancient Phoenicians kept
water, wine and vinegar in silver
vessels to ensure freshness. During
medieval times, Romans, Persians
and our own Rajas carried water in

bacterium found. In recent years, silver is being used in
medicine as a disinfectant and for burn-care as creams and

Science backs Silver: A recent scientific study led by James
Collins of Boston University has shown how silver ions
disrupt and ultimately kill bacteria by increasing the
permeability of their cellular membranes. Silver could thus
help deal with antibiotic resistance. Hence use of silver in
conjunction with existing antibiotics makes them even more
effective.
Collins and his team found that silver in the form of dissolved
ions attacks bacterial cells in two main ways: it makes the cell
membrane more permeable, and it interferes with the cell's
metabolism, leading to the overproduction of reactive, and
often toxic, oxygen compounds. Both mechanisms could
potentially be harnessed to make today's antibiotics more
effective against resistant bacteria. Collins and his team
showed that when boosted with a small amount of silver these
drugs couldkillbetween10and1,000 timesasmanybacteria.

4. A five-day workshop was inaugurated at SVYASA Yoga
University, Bangalore with many luminaries taking part in the
function. Dr. Konstantin Korotkov from St. Petersburg, Russia
was the main presenter, having introduced EPI (Electro
Photonic Imaging) technology worldwide. The program started
with an introduction of all the speakers by Dr. T. M. Srinivasan,
Dean of Yoga and Physical Sciences at the Yoga University. Dr.
B. R. Pai briefly described the Wellness scenario and the
importance of Life Style changes required to address health
problems at a fundamental level. Dr. Nagarathna, Medical
Director of Arogyadhama at SVYASA mentioned the role of
Prana in connecting mind and body. In the current Western
model, there is no indication where mind and body intersect and
inpsychosomaticproblems,thisisanimportantconsideration.
Dr. Konstantin Korotkov listed out the problems with reference
to Modern Medicine - its expert orientation, expense and
inability to treat many psychosomatic problems. There is an
urgent need to address global distress due to stress experienced
at work and even at home. A disconnect from nature and a
stress-filled life style has produced a large number of life
style-related problems. He also described how the
technology of Bio-Electrography can be utilized as a non-
invasive approach to monitor health status of the individual.
The system is based on Kirlian Photography, Acupuncture
and modern computer technology with the latest software

Dr. Krishna Madappa, a close colleague of Dr. K. Korotkov,
