RMS Service Instantly Translates Multiple Data Formats and Validates Offers
RMS Price List Distribution enables service providers to have all of their price lists
automatically validated and translated into customized formats and electronically
delivered in near real time to their trading partners. By supporting a wide variety of data
formats ranging from Microsoft Excel to XML to CSV, sellers can use RMS to connect with
hundreds of buyers, regardless of their trading partners’ preferred document format.
RMS provides central management for carriers’ sell operations including buyer contact
lists, email management, transaction monitoring and notifications. Sellers’ price lists are
received in RMS XML or custom XLS format from the customer’s system via HTTP protocol
over VPN, email or manually uploaded by the customer through the RMS portal.
3. When the price list is received and validated, RMS automatically translates and converts
the price list into the preferred format specified by the seller. Alternatively, standard price
lists can be broadcast to multiple sellers with a single click of the mouse. Once the seller’s
price list has been successfully received by the buyer, RMS automatically generates a
notification indicating successful delivery. The system also notifies the seller if the price
list was blocked by anti-spam/anti-virus filters or interruptions when the buyers’ email
servers are down.
