In the 1300’s there was a new route that was found that was the northern Steppe. It was a route that was in between Europe and Asia. That merchants used to carrier there trading goods across. 2) But the northern Steppe route that the merchants used wasn’t so easy to come across on that route was a rodent that was called a Tarabagan. This cute little rodent was loved for there “ Prized furs.” They would trap them and then sell them but what they didn’t know about them is that they carried the plague called bacillus. This rodent was lethal because it was pneumonic. This means this wasn’t spread by fleas, it was spread by coughing. And then being inserted by the nose, mouth, eyes, or ears. Making the man or merchant sick and the buyer sick as well.
