This research says that small levels of exposure to alcohol while in the
womb can influence in a child´s IQ, besides to advice consumption moderate
alcohol for pregnant women is contradictory because abstinence is safer for them.

I agree about abstinence to drink alcohol during the pregnancy because it
provokes several damages in the child´s brain and also in the mother´s health. For
me alcohol is not necessary to survive in the life not so water, if you are pregnant
you must think about the best for you baby. I have lost two relatives for alcoholism
and I felt really frustrated because they were special people for me; thus I could not
comprehend why alcohol should be drunk for pregnant women. For that reason,
pregnant women have to be more conscious about this and they have to decide
give up with alcohol in this process.
