2. RECOMMENDATIONS AND ADVICE
Hi everyone. I´m Doug Stampers and my partner and I are
going to Japan for the first time for 9 days from the 26th
of August to 3rd of September. We want to do a mix of
cultural experience and good tourist spots.
We booked the tickets on impulse and don’t have a lot of
experience traveling overseas. We are debating if we
should take one of the organized tours offered by travel
agents like Flight Center, STA travel (In Australia) or take
the more interesting option of an independent tour.
Also, I am a budget traveler and do not know any
Japanese. I would also like recommendations on places
to stay, which websites are reliable for booking
accommodation and rail passes.
