A doctor explains to a patient that they will be undergoing a simple kidney transplant procedure. As the anesthesia is administered, the patient's vision and the doctor's voice become distorted. During the surgery, the patient experiences flashes of light and shadows through their blurred perspective. After hearing medical instruments and their own muffled screams, the patient suddenly awakens in a hospital bed, remembering everything from the traumatic surgery as they scream in terror.

2. FADE IN:
INT. HOSPITAL. DAY
CLOSE UP OF A MOUTH
A doctor is sat looking at notes as he explains the
procedure to the patient (who is not seen). His voice is
muffled as he explains that he is going to be trialing a
procedure.
DOCTOR
(muffled) It shouldn’t take too
long and you should be out of here
in a few days. The procedure is
simple, just a very easy kidney
transplant. We will monitor you
for a short while after the
procedure to determine whether or
not it is successful.
The doctor pauses before talking again, this time it can
be heard clearly.
DOCTOR
The anaesthesia will start to be
administered now so take deep
breaths and count back from ten…
nine…eight…seven…six…
As the doctor counts down from ten the voice gets more
and more distorted and slurred until the doctor gets to
two.
DOCTOR
You wont feel a thing…….
(this is also distorted and slow and slurred.)
The screen goes black with only the sound of the heart
rate monitor and the the ventilator before a light
(presumably the surgery light) is visible. The camera is
in the position of the patient as the light comes in and
out of focus. There are also clips of the walls and
shadows of the procedure being done that happen. Heavy
breathing from the patient can be heard in an echoey
state as if they were in the patients head.

3. After the few moments of the light it cuts to black
before it comes back and the doctor can be seen looming
over the patient menacingly before going out of view as
the sound of medical instruments can be heard and so can
screams in the head of the patient.
CUT TO BLACK WITH
JUST THE SOUND OF
THE HEART RATE
MONITOR
The screen is black for a few moments before it very
suddenly cuts to the patient who is laying in a hospital
bed, some time after surgery, screaming in fear as they
had remembered everything that had happened in the
surgery.
SHOT OF THE DOCTOR SMIRKING AS THE PATIENT SCREAMS.
