daughter the author speaks about how as a girl child, she was ignored by her
family.

Teacher introduces the writer to the students
with the help of pictures and explained about
the writer. Then write the title and name of the
writer on the black board and also using power
point. Teacher introduced main characters of
this story to the students.

The teacher now reads the five
paragraphs of the story with proper
pronunciation, Stress and intonation.
6. Individual reading
Teacher asks the learner to read it
individually. Corrections are maid when ever
necessary.
Track reading by the pupil.
Students are asked to read the first time
paragraphs individually and silently and they are
asked to make accordingly . That is they have to
put tick( ) what they haven’t and an exclamatory
mark(!) for what they found interesting or
surprising.
