- 3. Are they interesting or are they weird?? Pogrebins are one foot tall Russian demons with a very hairy body and an oversized gray head. Pogrebins are found throughout Russia and the Czech Republic. Pogrebins are fascinated with humans and they often trail humans while out and about. When the human turns, the Pogrebin will crouch down, resembling a large rock because of their head. Its head is, on average, at least two feet wide If a Pogrebin follows a human for more than a couple of hours, the human will start to feel despair, and eventually fall to their knees, weeping with sadness. The Pogrebin will then attack the human, consuming them. For this reason, they are also considered a Dark Creature.
- 4. When I saw a Pogrebin
- 5. Once, I had been to Russia for the Quidditch World Cup. There, we first paid the campsite in-charge how much ever we needed to pay for our camping arrangements. As we enter the campsite area, we saw that there were these Russian people who were screaming around saying that they were selling ‘Pogrebin Detectors’. When we went around and asked them what that was and how is it of use. Then they tell us that there are these creatures called Pogrebins in Russia which follow you around. If you turn back, they will bend down and conceal themselves as a rock. If you don’t notice, then the Pogrebin will keep following you around for hours and finally you will be washed over by a wave of despair and you will be then eaten by the Pogrebin. They also said that with those detectors, they would be able to identify if the Pogrebin is there by a buzzing and vibrating movement and we would be then able to kick the Pogrebin or stun it. We bought these detectors and it actually helped us out a lot.
