the Greenfields Dragon and I will
be your guide on your challenge.
This is the first step on your
journey to becoming…
..A Knight of the Times
Tables!

2. You will meet many friends
and foes on this quest. You
must learn your times tables to
defeat them and earn your
knighthood, which you will
receive from King Morris at the
Great Tower of Greenfields!

3. Before you can begin your
journey you will need the
right equipment. Firstly,
you will need a horse.
Complete your counting
on and back in 1s card to
earn your horse!

4. Excellent work! Now you
have a horse to help you
on your quest! You will
move much quicker with
me to help you!

5. Well done brave hero! But
you will need protection
on your quest! Complete
your counting on and
back to 100 card to earn
your armour!

6. Great work! Now you
have a suit of armour!

7. We are almost ready to set
off on our quest, but
before we can go you
need a sword.
Complete your number
bonds to 10 card to earn a
shiny sword!

8. Brilliant! You have completed
your first challenge! Now we
are ready to set out on our
quest! To become a Page, we
must defeat Sir 2 Bows, who
lives in the deep, dark woods.
But we might meet some other
people on the way! Let’s go!

9. Stop right there!
I am Lord 1 of the
Greenfields and you
shall go no further
until you have
mastered your 1 x
table!

10. Zounds! You have me
beaten. Go on your
way brave challenger.

11. Wow! You really
know your 10 times
tables! Now let’s
hurry up and look for
Sir 2 Bows, this wood
is really scary!

12. Well done! Almost there
now. Sir 2
Bows lives in that
mansion ahead. You must
defeat him to complete
this part of your quest
and become a Page!

13. Go no further Knave! I
am Sir 10 Pikes! Your
quest ends here unless
you can master your
10 x tables!

14. HALT!
I am Sir 2 Bows and you
may not pass until you
have met my challenge!
Only when you have
mastered your 2x tables
will I stand aside for you
to pass!

pass until you can defeat
me with your 5x tables!

on your quest!

him to become a knight!
Be careful though, he may
have sent other knights to
block your path!

must know your 9 x tables
before I yield!

will become a knight!

spurs however, we must
cross the desert and defeat
Lord Arthur 12 Dragons!

your 7 x tables!

questions – only a true knight
will progress!
