  2. 2. The Armored Tank <ul><li>Ernest Swinton had the idea for an armored tank and gave it to Winston Churchill. Winston Churchill then created a committee to produce the tanks. </li></ul><ul><li>The armored tank was produced in secrecy by Lieutenant W. G. Wilson and William Tritton. </li></ul><ul><li>The tank they produced had twelve feet long track frames, weighed about fourteen tons, was able to carry a crew of three, and could go over three mph. </li></ul><ul><li>Once the Armored tank was modified, it was to believed that it would help the allies tremendously. </li></ul>http://www.militaryfactory.com/armor/imgs/mark-ix.jpg

Poison Gas <ul><li>Poison gas was another weapon the was first introduced during world war one. </li></ul><ul><li>The most harmful of the poison gases was the mustard gas. </li></ul><ul><li>Unlike a lot of the other weapons, people were able to create countermeasures against the attacks. This lead to poisonous gas have a killing capacity of four percent of the combat deaths. </li></ul><ul><li>People being affected with poison gas would feel burning in their throats and lungs.   4. 4. Flame-Throwers <ul><li>Flame Throwers were introduced in ww1. They were mainly used to clear enemy soldiers from their front line trenches. </li></ul><ul><li>The poistive effect is that there reach was improved to 40 meters which made them deadly </li></ul><ul><li>A major problem that the flame-throwers had were that they were too hard to move around, and had only enough oil to burn 40 seconds at a time. </li></ul>
