1. Pancho Villa.- (Doroteo Arango Arambula) Mexican Revolutionary (San Juan del Rio, Durango,
1876 - Parral, Chihuahua, 1923). Rural poor, orphaned and poor training, the outbreak of the
Revolution of 1910 took several years as a fugitive in the mountains for killing one of the owners
of the farm where he worked.
Then Pancho Villa joined Madero in their struggle against the dictatorship of PorfirioDíaz, and
showed an innate ability for war. Leveraging its knowledge of the land and the peasants, he
formed his own army in northern Mexico, which contributed to the triumph of the revolutionary
movement.
