 Due user friendly nature of android app, there is dire need to develop
such app for educational purpose especially for university users.
 The purposed app should be dynamic app which can disperse important
information and updates as the mobile device is connected to the internet.
The app is specifically designed for Institute of CS & IT, The Women
University Multan (WUM).

4. Android Operating System
 Android OS is the most popular operating system for hand held devices.
 The range of devices running Android is increasing day by day.
 Now Android OS even supports wearables such as smart watches, Google Glass
and automobiles system. The first commercial version of Android OS (API 1.0)
was released in September 23, 2008.
 The most recent Android Update is Android 6.0 “Marshmallow” which was
released in October 2015.

Activities They dictate the UI and handle the

The main Problem is to display the Results, News Updates, Admission Detail
through these sources are as follows:
 Notice board as source of information.
 Web site as a source of Information.

 Provide an admin panel to manage and update the important updates
 Remote access to the students and other users
 Ease for teacher as the teacher will add the marks only the percentage and the GP will
be calculated by the app automatically

 Accuracy and reliability of the information provided by the admin
 A large set of data can be stored on server and access when required
 Reduce chances of error in the information
 Time saving for admin and users both
