Sweeper Robot
The project: a working model of a sweeper cum obstruction avoiding robot which is based on PIC
microcontrollers. The robot is designed for household use or in places like airports, public offices etc.
where it can sweep a fixed unit area of the floor and if an obstacle is encountered the sweeper-bot halts
and continues on its path once the obstacle is removed if the obstacle is present beyond a certain period
of time a buzzer blows indicating that the obstacle is not moving. The robot is a device to reduce
human effort. It achieves automation and is a smart solution for a modern problem.
