The beautiful drape of these chandelier earrings is created by threading icy blue crystals and silver chain onto an eye pin. You can easily achieve this dramatic look using only a few basic jewelry-making techniques and materials!
2. Materials
50 4mm crystal bicones
headpins
eyepins
earwires
chain
wire cutters
bent nose pliers
round nose pliers
3. Thread 2 bicones onto an
eyepin. Bend the wire, trim
end, and make a loop.
4. Cut 2 lengths of wire 2 ½
inches, and another 2 pieces
3 ¼ inches long. Attach a
longer piece of chain to the
loop of an eyepin. Thread 1
bicone, an end of the
shorter chain, 2 more
bicones, the eyepin dangle
made in the previous step,
two bicones, the other end
of the shorter piece of
chain, and a bicone. Bend
the end of the eyepin, trim
the excess, and make the
loop. Before completely
closing, attach the other
end of the longer piece of
chain, then close the loop.
6. Thread a bicone
onto an eyepin,
then bend the
wire, trim the
end, and form the
loop. Before
closing the loop
attach the dangle
to the center link
of the shorter
piece of chain.
7. Make two more
dangles and attach
them to the shorter
piece of chain. I
skipped 3 links
between each
dangle.
8. Make 7 more dangles, but this time with two
bicones for each. Attach a dangle to the center
link, and continue adding dangles on either side of
the center, skipping 3 links in between.
