1. Key takeaways / Learnings
1. Empathy map was the most challenging step to really
get all the insights
2. I enjoy learning from others presentations materials, it
was great experience to receive feedback from all of
the world
3. Prototyping and Testing information give me a lot of
ideas to improve my current job, iterate fast and
innovate continuously.
3. Design Thinking Action Lab. Apply Design Thinking Assignment H. Millán Aug.2013 pg. 3
2. My Design Thinking process map
4. Design Thinking Action Lab. Apply Design Thinking Assignment H. Millán Aug.2013 pg. 4
3. A reflection about how design thinking skills and mindsets could be applied to
problems I care about.
In my company, we design and manufacture
equipment for process automation,
Usually, from Customers we just received
Information from the Manufacturing or Process
engineers and sometimes some requests
from Maintenance members.
This time we used the Empathy Map and
got input from all above members,
plus many ideas from production line operators
and supervisor. Also our engineers
made a fast wood and cardboard prototype
( in 3 days) to test size, footprint,
safety sensors location, process input-output, etc.
It was just to received a lot of input form the
Dummy prototype before our engineers
Expend 3 weeks designing the structure on
3D CAD Model.
