Editor's Notes

  1. Speaking Points:A key part of our business strategy is to support and enable the Microsoft vision for CRM … and extend that vision for mobile scenarios. Just as Microsoft Dynamics CRM empowers employees with a familiar user interface, based on Outlook … CWR Mobile CRM extends that user experience onto each mobile device. All users of Dynamics CRM will immediately recognize their CRM on whichever device they have … and it will also mirror the experiences they are used to on their mobile devices. So iPhone users will immediately recognize it as Dynamics CRM, but rendered within the native Apple iPhone UI. Similarly, users of RIM Blackberry or Windows Mobile, will also immediately recognize their CRM rendered within the native UI of their mobile device. But the CWR vision for Mobile CRM extends beyond the users. It also leverages the point-and-click customization model and tools for Dynamics CRM … and extends them by seamlessly translating form and database changes on the server to the mobile clients. By leveraging a single development effort, customers can now mobilize their entire application.Lastly, CWR Mobile CRM leverages all of a customer’s existing Microsoft and Dynamics CRM IT infrastructure for all of its tasks and processing. CWR Mobile CRM supports On-Premise, Partner Hosted and CRM Online implementations. Beyond the existing CRM infrastructure no additional servers are required … making CWR a fast, affordable mobile solution for all customers.
  2. Speaking Points:When we talked about Mobility Needs earlier, many of the benefits were around user productivity, real-time customer insight, and the ability to respond on the spot. All of these benefits are important … they are nice-to-have … and they desired by most users and organizations. Mobilizing basic CRM functionality is a great add-on to every sale and helps you increase your revenues and margins from every customer. However, the larger deals … and the larger services opportunities … will be had by focusing on mobile applications that enable core, as well as offline, business processes. In these cases, mobility is no longer just nice-to-have, it becomes required by the company to do business. From our own experience – and that of our clients -- we have identified several scenarios where mobility will enable differentiated selling opportunities for you.Just to pick an example, let’s look at the Pharma Field Marketing scenario. One of our largest customer implementations falls into this category. The organization has a large number of field representatives that call on (in person) doctors and medical professionals. The reps’ job is to engage and educate the doctors, and identify opportunities for future sales. There are two key benefits CWR provides to the company: First, it enables the reps to have all of the required information at their fingertips and then complete specific business processes; and Second, CWR enables the reps to do all of this offline as many of them work in areas with no reliable telecommunications infrastructure. There are several other examples here that probably resonate with your own experience, especially mobilizing XRM applications. So, in addition to generating business by “mobilizing” your existing customers, you can capture even larger revenues and profits by leveraging your experience in certain verticals and pursuing specific mobility scenarios such as the ones highlighted here.
  3. Multi-device: speaks for itselfForm Scripting: simple form scripting (e.g. validation logic) without using SDKSync Issue mgt: Sync issues are synchronized to the server and administrator can handle sync issues (delete, resubmit)Server security: CWR Customizer and CWR User Admin security roles for server managementClient security: extra password security optionsClient Settings management: client settings can be managed on server and are synced to client. Client setting can also be locked by server adminSoftware deployment: Client updates can be uploaded to server and are automatically synced to client (WM only)SDK: Extended SDK support for Windows MobilePower Management: better power management to save battery life
