2. If family fun is what you need at the moment, then
beanbag games would be your best bet. These children-
friendly games are safe for the entire family to enjoy at
home, after all. They can be played indoors or outdoors,
too, so you can have a good time when the sun is out in
the afternoon or even when the clouds look grey.
3. A lot of people have been playing with beanbags for a
while now and they have easily become their favorite
playthings. What makes them so lovable is the fact that
they cannot hurt anybody the way that other sharp and
tough gaming equipment can. This means that even
younger kids can play with them and you won't have to
keep looking over your shoulder to make sure they are
okay while they do, either.
4. If you happen to have toddlers around you who like to
put everything in their mouths right now, then keep in
mind that they shouldn't play with these toys, though. If
they do, they may accidentally place the bags in their
mouths and bring about unwanted accidents. As such,
these toys would be more recommended for kids three
years old or older instead. Adults can play them, too,
though.
5. Whether you are there to supervise or not, you should
make a board for the kids beforehand that involve their
favorite carton characters. Then, place holes of different
sizes on the board. Get the bags ready for them, too.
6. It is important for the bags to be small, though, because
the goal of the game is to shoot the bag into the hole.
Depending on the height and size of the hole that it
shoots into, points will then be given. The difficultly
positioned holes will obviously have more points
compared to the ones that are considered to be easy to
score, as well. These games that have scoring apply to
older kids much better since they already know what
scoring is all about to begin with.
7. Younger children, on the other hand, won't care very
much about scoring, so you can just have them play for
fun. Create bigger holes for them and help them shoot
their bags into the hole. Once they achieve this on their
own, they will already feel like major winners.
8. For adults, there are many games that are specially
made to be played outdoors. A lot of the time, though,
they will consist of a wooden board in the shape of a
rectangle that has a hole located on the very top part. As
with the kid's version, the main goal would be to shoot
the bag in the hole.
9. Naturally, this adults' version will be harder than the
kids' version. It is also possible to change the mechanics
as you see fit. Instead of playing a similar game to
basketball, for instance, you can play according to
distance and challenge each other that way. The ones
who stick it out to the very end will then be declared as
the winners. This just goes to show that beanbag games
are definitely a lot of fun for both kids and adults alike.
