Job Title: Accountant Manager

Job Summary:
We are looking for an accounting manager to supervise, track and evaluate day-to-day activities. Accounting
manager responsibilities include establishing financial status by developing and implementing systems for
collecting, analyzing, verifying and reporting information. We are also looking for someone to work closely
with our financial management team.
Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department including:
month and end year process
accounts payable/receivable
cash receipts
general ledger
payroll and utilities
treasury, budgeting
cash forecasting
revenue and expenditure variance analysis
2. capital assets reconciliations
trust account statement reconciliations,
check runs
fixed asset activity
debt activity
Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements
Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies and principles
Coordinate and complete annual audits
Provide recommendations
Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions
Assign projects and direct staff to ensure compliance and accuracy
Meet financial accounting objectives
Establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions.
Requirements:
Proven working experience as Accounting Manager or Finance Manager
Advanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software and databases
Ability to manipulate large amounts of data
Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations
High attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to direct and supervise
BS degree in Accounting or Finance
Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major work in accounting, business
administration, finance or a closely related field.
Accounting designation (CA, CMA)
Two to three years’ prior supervisory experience in the financial reporting/general ledger area.
Experience working in an accounting or law firm or another professional services firm is preferred.

Video interview
After you’ve successfully completed our online assessments, we will send you a link to complete a video
interview, time duration of which would be around 5 minutes. We’ll ask you to answer a few questions about
yourself using an online video interview tool. This will give us a chance to ‘virtually’ meet you and understand

group you’ve expressed an interest in.
Final stage — information session and final interview
The final stage of our recruitment process involves you coming into one of our offices for an information
session and panel interview. You’ll have the opportunity to demonstrate your talents in a friendly and relaxed
environment. You’ll also hear from our recent employees, find out more about the benefits of working at

and programs.
Your interview will be behavioural-based with a partner or director and a senior manager or manager from the
business group you’ve expressed interest in. This interview will last approximately 30 minutes and allow us to
find out more about you, and for you to ask questions about us.
