1. Panalpina World Transport B.V.
In 1997 ChartAir, by that time a company counting 80 staff members divided over 4 locations in the
Netherlands, was taken over by Panalpina. At that time Panalpina Netherlands employed 50 people.
As the IT manager, I was responsible for the integration of the two computer systems and the
communication between the two systems using EDI.
Besides that, the electronic communication wit Major accounts (Philips, IBM) was intensified.
Language skills
Due to the international character of my work, I dare say that my English in write and speech is
reasonable good. The fact that I stayed in Germany for one and a half year and Panalpina being a
Swiss company did something for my skill in the German language as well.
