owns and operates Mach One Air Charters,
Inc., which sells, operates, maintains, and
charters jets. H. Dan Hill maintains certification
as a turbo-jet flight engineer and also holds
MEI, CFI, CFII, and ATP 1774328 certifications
which includes ten Jet Ratings as Captain. .
Flight professionals holding CFII certification are
certified flight instructors with an instrument
rating, meaning they have completed training
and are expert in flying during instrument
conditions and teaching other pilots to do so.

3.  Instrument conditions are situations that
do not allow pilots to use outside visual
references to assist them in operating an
aircraft. Instead, navigation is done
solely through the use of flight deck
instruments and electronic signals.
CFII professionals obtain 10 hours in both
ground and flight training in how to
teach other pilots to fly by instruments.

4.  Ground training covers the certified flight
instructor instrument practical test standards
and requires a certified instructor to
properly teach all the principles and
procedures outlined in the instrument rating
practical test standards. The flight training
puts the ground lessons into practice and
stipulates that an instructor must have the
ability to clearly communicate his or her
maneuvers while applying the standards.
