Residing in Chino, California, H. Dan Hill founded Mach One Air Charters Inc. in 2006. He has since expanded the company from one jet to currently maintaining more than 10 aircraft in its fleet and employing 40 people. In addition to serving as president, CEO, and captain of the company’s Cessna Citation XLS airplane, H. Dan Hill also supports the Wounded Warrior Project. Formed in 2003, the Wounded Warrior Project helps veterans and military service members who have incurred an illness, wound, or physical/mental injury on or after September 11, 2001, rehabilitate and reintegrate as seamlessly as possible back into civilian life. The Wounded Warrior Project helps connect wounded servicemembers with programs that support mental health, financial wellness, and physical health, and also provides them with a community of peers who are also working to overcome similar challenges. Thanks to donations and fundraising initiatives, the Wounded Warrior Project invested close to $197 million in life-changing programs for Warriors and their family members in 2020 alone, all at zero cost to the Wounded Warriors that it serves.
