1. Preliminary Task Planning
The group I was put in for the preliminary task consists of Me, Reece Bullock and Ammad
Saddiq.
We discussed our ideas about what we will include in our preliminary task.
Our ideas include:

• Locations
• Characters and actors
• Customs and props
• Lighting
• Editing
• Narrative

2. Locations
The locations that will be used
in our preliminary task will all
be set within in school.
• Haverstock school
• English corridor
• Maths corridor
• P.E corridor
Actors
There will be 4 actors that play
the characters in our
preliminary task.
• Reece – Lonely nerd
• Ammad – School bully
• Rahel – Teacher
• Me- Friend of the school
bully
Sound
We will keep the sounding
natural to the surrounding like
children speaking and the
actors will talk in urban slang.
Shot types
We will be using several
different shots.
• Long shot
• Panning
• Reverse shot
• Point of view
• Match on action
• Over the shoulder
Editing
We will need fast pace editing
to add more intensity to some
of the scenes. For example, the
chase down the corridor.
Fade in and outs will help us
switch in and out of scenes.
Customes and props
The actors will be dressed in
casual clothing as this suits the
storyline and the characters
personality. However, Rahel will
be wearing a suit blazer as this
is what is required for a
teacher.
