The BI upgrade project here requires a platform upgrade of the existing business intelligence applications
solutions (OBIA 7.9.6.0) along with addition of new OBIEE 11G reporting capabilities.
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for showcasing the abilities of OBIEE 11G and the value that upgrade of platform can bring
to business analytics users at Gilead Health Sciences.
• Responsible for Providing the Technical Architecture for BI upgraded environment for
implementation in Production and performance environments.
• Responsible for implementing EBS integration with OBIEE11G using Action Links.
• Responsible for Configuring and changing the default Authenticator LDAP to OID and implement security
roadmap for Gilead Health Sciences
• Responsible for understanding and analyzing the customizations done with respect to financial analytics
and Procurement and Spend analytics and provide a gap analysis document by interacting with the end
users..
• Responsible for platform upgrade from OBIEE 10G to OBIEE 11G and address the subsequent
upgrade challenges in terms of RPD, Web Catalogue and Security.
• Responsible for consolidating multiple instances of OBIEE spread across the organization for various
departments and provide a standalone instance of centralized reporting.
• Responsible to formulate and implement a MUDE environment for development.
• Responsible for installation and configuration of BI Management Pack to enable centralized access to the
entire IT infrastructure in the data center.
• Responsible for development of custom reports and RPD modeling changes to accommodate the new user
requirements.
• Responsible for implementing OBIEE features like SSO and custom OID integration instead of inbuilt
LDAP functionality.

2. • Responsible for implementing various performance tuning strategies like Aggregate Navigation, Caching
strategies, HTTP Compression using OBIEE advance features along with the database objects design to
improve the turnaround time of reports.
• Responsible for allocation and monitoring of tasks among team members and guide them with necessary

Weatherford is one of the largest international oil and natural gas service companies. The company provides
products and services for drilling, evaluation, completion, production and intervention of oil and natural gas
wells, along with pipeline construction and commissioning.
The project involves design and development of OBIEE Reports along with ETL jobs using Informatica that
caters to these custom reporting requirements of Weatherford for Project Management, Operation Excellence
and Safety Subject areas.
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for gathering the requirements for the custom report development Using OBIEE.
• Responsible for data profiling and data quality checks to suffice the report requirements gathered above
and provide an ETL Mapping technical specifications document to cater to shortcomings in data if any.
• Responsible to articulate the Data Mart design based on reporting requirements using Data Modeling best
practices and Techniques.
• Responsible for providing Technical design document for the reporting requirements along with RPD
Modeling of the same.
• Responsible for design and implementation of various confirmed dimensions across weatherford

Project: The project scope undertakes the designing and implementation of complete enterprise level data
warehouse for the client SIDBI (Small Scale Industries Development Bank of India) to meet its business
needs, and the ever-changing demands of the industry with the enhanced capabilities to improve growth and
profitability. The BI solution is designed to consolidate and aggregate data from various source systems into a
unified data warehouse/data mart. Data is acquired in the staging layer using OWB and is cleansed and
massaged in this layer and is loaded into the Data warehouse. OBIEE reporting layer is mounted on the top of
it to generate the reports for various analytics across the line of business of the client.
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for understanding the business processes of SIDBI (lending domain) and translate the
requirements to a warehouse model.
• Responsible for Implementation of Change Data Capture Strategies for acquiring incremental data from
various source systems.
• Responsible for developing and implementing the various tuning strategies to improve the overall load
time of Warehouse and turnaround time of OBIEE reports.
• Responsible for guiding developers in the Project to implement various tuning strategies in RPD of OBIEE
to increase the turnaround/response time of reports.
• Responsible for leading a ETL team of 20 people in assisting them to carry out their day to day
development activities using OWB and PL/SQL.
• Interacted with clients to understand the business requirements from different of Physical Layer, Business
Mapping and Presentation Layer.
• Built Reporting Dashboards and Pages. Created 8 Critical Reports in Answers developed and debugged
existing Dashboards / Reports with different Analytics Views (Pivot Table, Chart, Tabular and View
Selector), Alerts, Guided Navigation and Dynamic Dashboards with drill-down capabilities using
dashboard and page prompts.
• Created Materialized views, created indexes on tables which has text to boost performance.
