2. Billboards
• As an independent, we are limited to marketing strategies, especially
for a short documentary as we won’t be featured in large multiplex
cinemas.
• However, there are cost implications for billboards as they can be
expensive, ranging from thousands of pounds for a limited time of
advertising. However, billboards come in different sizes and so we’d be
aiming at getting smaller ones seeing as our distributor is also an
independent (Renderyard).
• In terms of location, our target audience is based around London, due to
both industries having a big impact in larger cities. The modelling
industry is based in London and stereotypically, plastic surgery is more
popular in larger cities. We could look at having poster on the tube as
there is good footfall, however, it would be difficult for this to happen
because of cost and the application process.
