Detailsof Location:
Fátima is a central Portuguese town that's home
to the Sanctuary of Fátima, a Catholic pilgrimage
site. The “Capelinha das Aparições” marks the
spot where the Virgin Mary allegedly appeared in
1917.
As I would want to add religious scenes on my
short film, I’ve travelled all the way from the North
of Portugal, to the central of Portugal to spend
some time there and to shoot and gain good
footage for my short film.

Advantages of location
Thismightbe an effective locationtouse,fromall the religiousareasthatIcouldshoot in.While
filmingIwouldhave tomake sure I’monlyshootingfootage thatIwouldneed/use formyshort
filmandthat fitsinwith my script.The advantage of alsousingthislocationisthe advantagesof
recordinggoodfootage duringthe evening.

Logistic Considerations From where Icome from, thisis the furthestlocationItravelledto,
interms of shooting.Itisaround 3 hours’drive to getthere and
another3 to getback home,soa total of 6 hours’drive.My family
alreadyhadthe ideatotravel to thislocation,soI tookmy
equipmentwithme andshotmovingimagesthatwouldrelateto
my shortfilm, withnoworriestouse thislocationasit’sa public
area to come and pray.
