6. A lifewithLymeDisease In my case a life with Lyme Disease is something that is keeping you busy 24/7. Since I was forced to stay at home since november 2008 I have not been able since to go outside my house. The Lyme Disease has destroyed most of my nerve system, destroyed my immune system, gives me less strenght and infections in my joints, has made my skin very thin with as result wounds, has reduced my mobility to almost none and since 1998 I need to have special monthly antibiotics injections to keep away the fever and reduce the infections. All the years, since 1998, I managed to keep on fighting and continue to look forward. At last, end 2008, I had to give up and give more attention to the disease.
