Red tacton is a new human area networking that
uses the human body surface as the safe, high speed
network transmission path.
Redtacton uses minute electrical field emitted on the
surface of the human body.
Developed by NTT.

The concept of intra body communication was first
proposed by the IBM at 1996.
Later, it was evaluated and reported by the several
research groups around the world.
Limitations:
operating range through the body was limited to only
few tens of centimeters.
Communication speed only 40 bits/sec.
Limitations are overcome by NTT, located in tokyo,
japan by using photonic electric field sensors at 2005.
