Advertising in Italy: DOs and DON'Ts
Ban on the advertising of any products for smoking
Ban on television advertising, including any indirect
advertising, for cigarettes and any other tobacco products,
using names, trademarks, or other symbols of tobacco
products companies
Ban on the sponsorship of radio or television programs by
natural or legal persons primarily manufacturing or selling
cigarettes or other tobacco products
On what should be avoided
On what should be avoided
Ban on advertising and sponsorship of tobacco products in
the press and through the internet
Specific provisions concerning the labelling of each unit
packet of a tobacco product and any outside packaging
