Assist and facilitate efficient and effective project implementation by the CSFII grantees through, among
, the coaching of project staff, facilitation of access to information, expertise, provision of
templates, feedbacks on draft work plans and reports;
Monitor the progress towards achievement of CSFII programme results through the desk and field
monitoring and evaluation of the specific CSF II projects assigned according to their contracts, budgets
and action plans;
In collaboration with the TAU team, conduct organisational capacity and risk assessments of grantees,
follow-up their operational contexts and provide recommendations to the Programme Manager (PM) on
actions to be taken, where necessary;
Routine administration of grant contracts, including reviewing and processing of narrative and financial
reports, payment requests, tax refunds, audits and evaluations, in consultation with the Finance Officer
and the Deputy PM, following applicable EU rules and procedures;
Plan and implement various activities for capacity building support to grantees and other targeted
CSOs, by (co)-organising short training,
information and experience sharing events, production of implementation manuals and guidelines as
well as providing help desk services to the grantees in project implementation;
Contribute to the drafting of the quarterly bi-annual and final reports of GOPA/TAU with respect to the
progresses of the specific projects assigned;
Contribute to the implementation of the CSFII communication strategy, by providing information and
cooperating with the TAU team with respect to the specific CSFII projects coordinated;
Represent CSF II, and liaise with governmental and non-governmental stakeholders at various levels
as required to facilitate implementation of CSFII;
Undertake other related assignments assigned by the supervisor.
1. Reports to National Steering Committee (hierarchically) of the Ethiopian alliance and to northern
Alliance in the Northern alliance in the Netherlands;
