•Light allows us to see the surrounding
world by distinguishing details,
individual colors, movement, brightness.
•Street lights helps to reduce night-time
crashes by improving visibility. Street
lighting help people to feel safe and can
help to reduce crime.

of evil. We are drowning in a sea of sexual
images and sinful attractions. Everywhere
we look we find temptation to fill our
mind with thoughts of sexual

God had planned for Israel to be his light (Isaiah
49:6) through Israel came Jesus, the light of the
nations (Luke 2:32) this light would spread out
and enlighten the gentiles.

who possesses a ministry to redeem the people
Israel. In this case the minister (Israel) needs to
first be ministered to.

Simeon was a righteous man who had been promised
by God tht he would not die before he had seen with
his own eyes the promised Hope of Israel, the
appointed Messiah Who would save His people from
their sin. the Messiah of Israel, the Servant of God, the
Saviour of the whole world.

12. The Bible say in Acts 13:47
Bring the Light of the Gospel the message
of salvation to the world. Be bold! Take
advantage of the moment. Trust the Lord
that he will prepare you with the right
words to say. Share the good news!
Both the old and New Testaments speak of God’s
people being a light to the Gentiles. (Isaiah 42:6
and Acts 13:47)
In Jesus’ Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-29)
exhorts us to take light to where there is darkness.
Sadly, the Church has not always run toward the
darkness carrying the Light.
