Motor Cycling was the first British motorcycle magazine, founded in 1902 by Temple Press. It was published weekly from 1909 to 1967, with green-colored covers displaying black-and-white images of motorcycles. The magazine targeted men interested in motorcycles and at its peak in 1961 sold over 67,000 copies a week with its focus solely on the pastime of motorcycling.
