1. In comparison to both of the magazine contents pages, I would say that the Kerrang magazine would
attract a younger audience between 14 to 21 years older and maybe more towards males rather
than the Mixmag magazine which would more likely attract and older teenager audience for
example from 18 to 25 years older and maybe more females, who are interested in clubbing and DJ
music. Rather than the chaotic layout of the Kerrang which portrays a more disorganised audience
who would be more into going to gigs and concerts rather than clubbing. Similarly, both of the
magazines are lay out with informal balances, Kerrangs is horizontal and Mixmag is vertical, this
gives both the magazines a sense of organisation and separates the texts from the picture, especially
in Kerrangs as the whole lay out is extremely chaotic however this informal balance gives the
contents page makes it seem neat and a lot easier to understand.
