transfer of funds without having to handle PCI data.
2. A payment gateway, to transmit data directly and
securely between your customer's account and bank
account and card providers.
Security
Metaphor SecurePay requires all online data
transmissions via the payment processing engine to
utilize SSL 128-bit encryption over the public
Internet. If a client should require private
connectivity, then arrangements would need to be
made with corporate headquarters to install separate
lines or to connect via a VPN. If a client should
request Metaphor Secure Payments to transmit
posting or audit files, Metaphor Secure Payments
typically requires GPG encryption of data files in
order to ensure complete security.
