Martec Serpe-Iesm proposes the KANNAD 121
AF, Automatic Fixed Emergency Locator
Transmitter (ELT).
The KANNAD 121 AF, small size, light weight and
low cost, is specifically designed to comply with
requirements for light aircraft.
It has been developed to meet the latest
specifications regarding two frequency ELTs
(JTSO-2C91a and TSO-C91a).
The KANNAD 121 AF system can be upgraded to a
3 frequency ELT while keeping the same
installation.
As an automatic fixed ELT, it is designed to be
installed near the tail and to be connected to an
outside antenna. A sophisticated « shock sensor »
will activate the ELT automatically in the event of a
crash.
