The local primary school eco project was called "Ecology in our Life". The main activity was recycling different materials like glass, plastic, paper, wood and aluminum. Students made bins to collect items and then crafted recycled objects like flowers, fish, plates, bottles, robots and jewelry. They also told fairy tales about recycling, planted trees, interviewed elders about traditional ecological practices, and made an animation film about recycling. To conclude the project, they held an ecological bazaar and exhibition of their recycled crafts.

Our local school eco project was named “ Ecology in our life” . The main
purpose was to learn to live, think and act ecologically. The main activity
was recycling. Every class chose a different material for recycling. The
materials were glass, plastic, paper, wood and aluminum. We made big
paper recycling bins for each material and we started gathering items.
Those items were used for recycling and crafting. We made plastic
flowers, cd fishes, paper plates and bowls, glass comics and Christmas
bottles, Byzantium empire modeling from paper and stones, aluminum
robots (Our eco mascots using the mythology for Talos the first robot,
we named it Eco-talos), magic charms, rings, ear rings etc. Other
activities were fairy tells about recycling and ecology, planting, painting,
calling older people to talk to us about their way of living in an ecological
way (making soap, traditional recipes). We also made an animation film
about recycling. In Christmas we had a big ecological bazaar and in the
end of the school year a big exhibition of our recycled items.
