3. 1822 Back where I lived before the weather was bad for the cotton I had. The first year my cotton did not grow too well so I had to sell more cattle to pay for my yearly land payment. Near the end of the year of 1822 my cotton did not grow at all.

5. 1823 It was the year 1823 and I had bought some new cattle and at the beginning of the year I am moving to get cotton and grow it. I bought 100 dollars of cotton, and 300 dollars on cattle.
6. 1823 My cotton had some trouble growing due to the drought that was going on. Most of my cattle were no longer living also because of the drought.
7. 1823 I was short on cash so I had to take a 500 dollars lowed so I could pay my land payment
8. 1824 The year 1824 and I got some cash to pay off the lowed I owed. My cotton started to grow and my cattle were no longer dyeing because the weather cleared up.
9. 1824 My slave got sick and soon died. My dad bought some more lumber so we could build a place for the cattle to sleep. The payment went down a little bit so we could start saving more money.
