Harry is reading the textbook for his astronomy class and is trying to relate the material to his own life experiences. According to the levels of processing model, Harry is more likely to remember the inform over the long term because he is using reconsolidation. shallow processing. spreading activation. deep processing. Solution Harry is most likely to remember the information over the long term because he is using \' Spreading Activation\' model. The \'Spreading Activation\' model ( modified Collins and Quillian model) recognises that we do not organise concepts according to strict hierarchies or steps and that people form their own organisations in memory based on personal life experiences. Thus for example, if harry encounters a term from astrology subject later in his life, he will be able to recall the entire memory of the class and the concept as he has related it to his own life event that he has experienced/ witnessed himself which is very easy to recall..

Solution Harry is most likely to remember the information over the long term because he is using ' Spreading Activation' model. The 'Spreading Activation' model ( modified Collins and Quillian model) recognises that we do not organise concepts according to strict hierarchies or steps and that people form their own organisations in memory based on personal life experiences. Thus for example, if harry encounters a term from astrology subject later in his life, he will be able to recall the entire memory of the class and the concept as he has related it to his own life event that he has experienced/ witnessed himself which is very easy to recall.
