1. David Edmunds will be wearing: a tommy Hilfiger jacket,
rolled up blue jeans, white socks and thrasher shoes. I
have chosen these items of clothing for David as they fit
in with the indie look as well as being branded. One of
David’s traits is wearing branded clothes so I have tried
to put this across while still maintaining the indie look. I
chose the thrasher/HUFF shoes because thrasher is a
brand worn by skateboarders and David does in fact
skateboard. I chose the tommy Hilfiger black denim
jacket because denim jackets are becoming popular
again in the indie community. So I want David to wear
one but with a brand because that is his thing. I chose
the blue jeans because I think they go well with the black
jacket. David will be smoking a hand rolled cigarette and
holding a piece of paper saying smoking kills. He will be
smoking because the name of the band is fag butts and it
is their look to smoke. And he will be holding a sign
saying smoking kills to support that my band don’t care
bout social expectations and don’t follow the rules.
James Morris will be wearing: a dark red knitted jumper,
a shirt underneath with the colour coming out, black
jeans that are ripped at the bottom, white socks and
black dr martins. I chose these pieces of clothing as it
combines the indie look with a hint of punk as in the 70s
to the 80s punks wore dr martins. I chose the ripped
jeans because they are very popular in indie culture. I
want James to wear the red jumper because not only will
the album cover be taken on a grey and cold day but it
also suits the indie genre and I think it will look good
contrasted against David’s black jacket. James will be
smoking a hand rolled cigarette because of the bands
name and he will have a sledgehammer over his
shoulder to show that he likes destruction.
