The jim crow laws
1.
2. JIM CROW LAWS
When the American Civil war ended these “Jim
crow Laws” were put into affect.
JCL were laws that were against The African
American people.
These laws basically discriminated against
anything African Americans wanted to do.
Including school, restaurants, or any other public
places.
3. SEGREGATION
Segregation, setting someone or something apart
from other things.
This is what happened when the JCL were put into
act.
Separation of the whites and blacks is what had
happened when these laws were in force
4. DO JCL STILL EXISTS?
JCL ended in 1968 but they still affect minorities
to this day.
African American men are the most effected
followed by Latino men.
It’s truly unfair how some still act like such idiots
because in reality people shouldn’t treat other
people less than because I know that those few
who do that, would not want to be treated like
that. >:/ nehhh
5. OUR OPINION
In our opinion we think these laws were unjust
And that it put Minorities through a troubled era.
We just think that it was a horrible choice for the people to make.
Editor's Notes
These laws were put against the African American people and didn’t let them do really anything.
This separated blacks and whites, and made the black people less than the white. Only because of their color of their skin.
Yes they do because some are racist and do not respect other people, but for the most part they don’t. they are not inforced but some still enforce JCL.
People shouldn’t think they are better than anyone else, especially not because of their color of their skin. And or of stupid choices made.
