"Jealous"
Rain – imagery (could record
rain) dull setting of the scene.
Skin – could show a shot of
a women's hand or some
skin contact. Rain falling
onto skin.
Rain/wind – could show the
characters to the narrative
outside in a street in cold
bleak weather. The lyrics are
showing that he wants to be
with her on bad days as well
as good, implying he really
cares deeply for the women.
Shadow- showing that he is
no longer present but
wishes to be.
Nights – could show darker
hours of the day, with the
artist alone and the couple
shot in frames separate from
him.
Lay next to – bedroom
setting with the new couple
being happy and chilled,
while the artist is looking in
through a window internally
framed to show he is an
outsider now.
These lyrics in this verse
show how the women has
moved on to find new love
while the artist is struggling
to let go of the love they
shared together.

The chorus is very emotional and poor's
the artists true feeling into the song as
though he has ben bottling them up and
cant contain them anymore.
By saying he wished her the best of all
the world could give, he is really saying
that he wants her to find happiness
and always be fulfilled, even if it
means its not him that can make her
that.
An idea for how this scene could be
recorded for a music video is – the
artist could be lip syncing the lyrics
using extreme close up shots and a
reverse syntax to long shots, while
abstract shots such as candles and
roses are cut between clips to break
them apart and edited with different
filters, timings and speeds.
The end of the song has an extra
few lines added to the end of the
last chorus, this creates the effect
that the artist is never going to
move on or be over his true love for
the women.
The last few lines could be shot in
slow motion to show that the artist
is frozen in time and he wont be
able to move forward without the
women, this effect would be added
during editing.
Another idea of how to end the
song is by looping it back to a
similar shot as the song opening,
for example if roses were used to
introduce the song then the same
roses could be recorded but once
they were dead for the ending to
indicate the passing of time and
the dying love that roses can be a
connotation for.
