Individual Assignment: Strategic Organization Report
Purpose of Assignment
In this assignment, students are expected to detect changes in
organizational direction and demonstrate how HR can be a
strategic partner in helping to effectuate change in an
organization while considering the corporate culture. One way
HR can participate in organizational change is to have a role in
the mission and vision of the organization.

Hello Susan. It seems like I’m getting a bit ahead of myself in
moving the company forward. I think you, Andrea, and I need to
have a meeting to go over all our thoughts on creating and
implementing changes in our management and strategic
organizational goals. This is going to call for new mission and
vision statements that will fit our transformative philosophies.
You know the way we operate around here, so let’s include
cultural considerations in our new mission and vision
statements that reflect on our strategic planning goals. I look
forward to receiving a preliminary report prior to our meeting.
